Visa Application Information
If you’re traveling from outside the United States, visit California for more information on necessary travel documents and identification as well as U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements, the Visa Waiver Program and the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
Visa denial
MDRT will not process refunds for visa denials received after September 8, 2026. Members who are denied a U.S. visa are eligible to receive a full refund for the meeting registration fee only if official documentation of their visa denial is provided to MDRT at tot@mdrt.org by September 8, 2026. MDRT cannot process refunds for visa denials after this date. Visa denial letters must be submitted individually.
Air Travel and Transportation Services
Palos Verdes is serviced by three airports. Below indicates the approximate distance to the Terranea Resort:
John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA): Approximately 35 miles/45-60 minutes
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): Approximately 18 miles/30-40 minutes
Ontario International Airport (ONT): Approximately 60 miles/60-90 minutes
Air Travel Savings

Discounts apply on United Airlines and flights operated by United and United codeshare flights operated by Air Canada, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Deutsche Lufthansa, Swiss, all Nippon Airways and Air New Zealand. Fares originating in Japan excluded.

Ground Transportation
You are strongly encouraged to arrange your transportation prior to arrival. Taxi service through South Bay Yellow Cab is the most available; however, you may prearrange an Uber/Lyft ride-share. If you need help making taxi arrangements, please contact the Hotel Concierge at +1 (310) 265-2862.
Car rental
If you would like to reserve a rental car prior to arrival at the Terranea Resort, call the Hotel Concierge +1 (310) 265-2862 between the hours of 8 a.m and 8 p.m. Pacific Time.
Parking is available at the Terranea Resort. Overnight valet parking is USD 50.
